If you can't try harder. A Message from Mrs. Levine: Dear MBTA Middle School Families, It is my most sincere prayer that everyone is staying healthy and safe. Tomorrow, March 30th marks the begining of a new adventure in learning for us all. We will fully embrace 21st Century learning and the technology it thankfully provides. I am grateful that our regular classroom materials are all available digitally and that we have practiced accessing and using the tools available to us under more traditional circumstances. Now, that practice will pay off. Starting tomorrow, there will be assignments posted on Google Classroom with links to our Pearson texts and the readings, 3D models, Gallery activities, Primary Sources, and supportive tools provided there. Additionally, there will be links to Quizlet vocabulary resources, outside readings, videos, and activities to support our learning. Perhaps the most exciting opportunity, however, will be the links to our daily class meetings via ZOOM. There I plan to go into in depth discussion of lesson assignments and readings while finally being able to have "direct" contact with each of my students. I will also be providing a time slot for regular office hours to provide additional time for us to connect and share thoughts about our Social Studies journey. I am looking forward to sharing this new adventure with your child. Remember, the goal of any study of the past is to learn how to improve the present and the future. Be well and God's blessings to you and your family, Elyse B. Levine |
